In addition, Dr. Harris and Dr. Seluk have a vast amount of continuing dental education, far exceeding their state requirements dentists, allowing them to give you state-of-the-art service. Dr. Michael Harris, DDS
Position: Dentist
Background: Dr. Harris graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1985. He has advanced training and a fellowship in dental implants. Dr. Harris continues to take dental education courses to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry.
Personal: Enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Also enjoys landscaping, animals, riding motorcycles, fitness, and group exercise classes including step aerobics and weight resistance and yoga.
Dr. David Seluk, DDS
Position: Dentist
Background: Dr. Seluk attended Wayne State University before completing dental school at New York University in 1995 along with advanced education in general dentistry at Lutheran hospital in 1996. Dr. Seluk has also completed continuing education courses in Implant, invisalign, rotary endodontics and laser technology.
Personal: I'm excited to be a part of Arch Dental. I have lived in Royal Oak for 20 years and love this area, I have three beautiful children, two boys and one girl. My youngest is in sixth grade, one starting high school and my eldest just purchased a home in the neighborhood. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors either boating, golfing, or riding motorcycles.
Michael Zonder, DDS
Position: Dentist
Dr. Michael Zonder is a person who places a great deal of importance on family. His family is at the center of his life, and he cherishes every moment he spends with them. Dr. Zonder understands that family provides a source of love, support, and guidance that is unmatched by any other relationship.
Along with spending time with his family, Dr. Zonder enjoys painting, golf, guitar, photography and tennis. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association.
Eva Schwartz, DDS
Position: Dentist
Dr. Schwartz was trained as a physician and dentist in Eastern Europe and United States. She is highly accomplished and experienced with a strong commitment and passion treating her dental patients. Patients enjoy seeing her because she is gentle and thorough.
Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending her time with her husband and son who is an anesthesiologist and with Miriam, her baby granddaughter. Her hobbies include painting, drawing , exercising and nature walks.
Nicholas Abdallah, DDS
Position: Dentist
Background: Dr. Nick, a Michigan native and Michigan State University honors graduate in human biology, earned his DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. His commitment to cutting-edge dentistry combines with a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Personal: Beyond dentistry, Dr. Nick enjoys pickleball and exploring new destinations through travel. His dedication to community health is evident, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact. Dr. Nick's friendly and approachable nature ensures a comfortable environment for patients, fostering open communication and empowering them to actively participate in their oral health journey.
Susan Ristau
Position: Hygienist
Background: Mrs. Ristau graduated with honors from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1979 obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree. Sue is also licensed in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation. Sue has been a part of the Arch Dental Practice since 19891
Personal: I am married with two grown sons and two amazing grandsons. My family and I enjoy spending time at our cabin in northern Michigan. I also enjoy gardening, swimming, reading, cooking and outdoor activities both winter and summer. LOVE spending time with my adorable young grandsons Bentley and Kody!
Shannon Burk
Position: Hygienist
Background: Ms. Burk graduated with honors from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Shannon is also certified to administer local anesthesia. Shannon first became interested in dentistry after seeing her mother put off routine dental care due to anxiety and dental phobia. Shannon’s goal is to treat each patient as if they were her own mother in order to get him or her to the healthy place they need to be. She wants to make them feel as comfortable as she can and encourage them to have the desire to keep up their oral health.
Personal: Enjoys the outdoors, including boating, gardening, and camping.
Cynthia Jones
Position: Insurance and Financing Coordinator
Background: Ms. Jones has 15 years of dental experience having a great smile is very importation part of her life and her profession. Cynthia's passion is to brighten everyone's smile by helping them realize or by pioneering and developing all dental solutions.
Personal: working out, cooking, shopping, dancing, and music.
Tonya Bryant
Position: Dental Assistant/Technician
Background: Mrs. Tonya has been in the dental field over 23 years, most of those years were at Arch Dental. Tonya graduated from ROSS medical center in 1995. She has been working with Cerec for more than 10 years.
Personal: I enjoy spending time with my 4 children, watching good movies, traveling, cooking, baking and designing cakes.
Taryn Hall
Position: Dental Assistant/Technician
Background: Since graduating from Ross Medical, Taryn joined and has been with the Arch team for 4 years now. Her genuine nurturing concern for each patient impresses upon her the need to remain current on new advances in dental education and has taken many courses to keep up to date.
Personal: Taryn loves spending time with her family, reading horror novels, cooking and traveling.
Krystal
Position: Dental Assistant/Technician
Background: Krystal has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She is a highly trained dental assistant she stays current with continuing dental education classes a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. Krystal has 2 children and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Carey
Position: Dental Assistant/Technician
Background: Carey has worked as an assistant for over 14 years. Of her 14 years, 8 years include being clinically trained in CEREC design. Carey has compassion for all patients seen at Arch Dental, and enjoys building relationships with each and every person who walks through the door.Carey also takes pride in the state-of-the-art practice that houses the latest dental technology.
Carey enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons. Loves being outdoors in the sun, swimming and biking.
